What this site is

Wild Swim Spots is a free UK directory of paid and managed swim venues, and stays with swimming on site. It is not a booking site, travel agent or the operator of the lakes, lidos or quarries listed. You book and pay the venue, on their terms.

Listings

I check venues before they go up, but hours, prices and access change. Treat every page as a starting point and confirm with the venue before you travel. I can edit or remove a listing at any time.

Swimming

Open water is cold, deep and not a pool with a lifeguard on every visit. You swim at your own risk. I’m not responsible for injury, loss or a wasted trip if a venue is shut, full, or not as you expected.

Ads

Pages may show Google AdSense ads. Ads are provided by Google. They are not recommendations from me.

Your use of this site

Don’t scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the site, its listings, text or photos. Don’t try to break it, overload it, or access accounts that don’t exist here (there aren’t any). Don’t use the content to train a dataset or to spin up a copycat directory.

You may link to pages. You may quote a short extract with a link back. The rest of the writing and the selection of venues is mine. Venue names, logos and photos still belong to their owners; some photos are used with credit from the venue or from Wikimedia Commons.
